Why Take It Easy exists
Some people think that once you get a dog, travelling becomes impossible.
That was our fear too: we were used to taking a plane to visit a city for the weekend, then Easy arrived and showed us another way to experience travel. Some people think that once you get a dog, travelling becomes impossible. That was our fear too: we were used to taking a plane to visit a city for the weekend, then Easy arrived and showed us another way to experience travel.
Take It Easy was created to share what travelling with a dog really feels like: honest stories, practical tips, routines, mistakes, discoveries and the little tricks we learn along the way.
Real stories from Easy and from our house sits in Europe: homes, animals, cities, surprises and lessons learned.
Practical guides to understand how to start, how to apply and what to really expect.
Tips, routines and real experiences for travelling with a dog without losing your peace of mind.
Easy is always the first to jump into the car, she chooses the best spots to enjoy the day and manages to make any new place feel like home.
Between new four-legged friends, pools to swim in, gardens to explore and sofas to conquer, she tells Europe through her funny, sweet and slightly stubborn way of being in the world.

House sitting lets you travel while living in a real home: while the owners are away, you take care of their space and the animals who are part of their family.
For us, it became much more than a way to save on accommodation: it is a way to live places more slowly, step into local routines and build unique connections with animals and people.
Easy taught us to choose places more intentionally, slow down and experience every journey with more presence.
Not everything is simple: there are rules to respect, introductions with other animals to manage, homes to choose carefully and travel days to organize around her rhythm. But that is exactly what makes the journey feel more real.

We are turning two years of house sitting across Europe into practical guides and real stories, starting from the questions we get asked most often.
